One of my favorite songs has a line “Scars are souvenirs you never lose.” Scars tell a story. Sometimes they can say something about who you are and how you got here.
I have a scar on my eyebrow from when I was a young child and I tried to use a Tonka dump truck as a step stool. I think that says something about my determination to get where I want to be (and maybe something about my judgement as a child).
But it also says that I had parents who bought a Tonka Truck for their little girl. And that’s pretty freaking cool.
